TROPHY CLOTHING W Knee Standard Dirt Denim / Lot.1606
TROPHY CLOTHING W Knee Standard Dirt Denim / Lot.1606
Born in the 1960s, a decade defined by the rapid growth of motorization and the vibrant American spirit of those who embraced freedom amidst the oil and dirt, this pair stands as a signature piece from TROPHY CLOTHING. It features a moderately high rise and a clean silhouette that avoids excess fabric at the hem. While retaining the ruggedness of authentic workwear, the design is balanced for easy integration into modern styles. Details include hidden rivets on the back pockets, triple-stitch construction on the inseam for superior durability, undyed cotton pocket bags, 1605 solid brass buttons, engraved brass UFO rivets, and a deerskin leather patch. The selvage is accented in yellow and black, inspired by the Trophy logo and checkered flags.
The sewing utilizes chain-stitching by a "UNION SPECIAL" machine. With repeated wear, the characteristic puckering of vintage garments emerges, adding depth and dimension to the denim's texture. The sewing thread consists of a cotton-wrapped polyester core, combining durability with the ability to enjoy color fading over time; the thickness of the thread is varied depending on the area to ensure longevity and character.
The denim fabric is an original 14.5oz "Dirt Denim," woven from 6-count yarn for both warp and weft. "Dirt Denim" uses custom-made, uneven slub yarn, recreating the texture found in textiles from an era when spinning technology was still developing. It is slowly and powerfully woven on the legendary TOYODA G-3 loom, which highlights the rich, uneven texture and character born from the irregular yarn. The warp yarns undergo indigo rope dyeing, allowing you to enjoy the fabric's evolution as you break them in.
These jeans are not "complete" at the time of purchase; as you wear them, they conform to your body and develop unique fading and puckering, gradually evolving into a pair that is entirely your own. It is a piece designed for long-term wear, offering the deep satisfaction of "growing" your own denim over time.

Incomplete at the time of purchase, it conforms to your body and develops character with every wear—"a garment that evolves with the wearer."
Inspired by the rugged, functional workwear of the pre-1950s era, TROPHY CLOTHING was launched with the concept of "seeking the new within the old," elevating that aesthetic to a higher level of quality through modern technology.
Refusing to cut corners often overlooked in modern manufacturing, every detail—from the selection of materials to the pattern-making and sewing—is crafted with meticulous care.
What TROPHY CLOTHING values most is not the moment of purchase as the point of completion, but rather the philosophy of "clothing that makes history with its wearer"—garments that gain character the more they are worn and adapt to the body of the individual.
By combining carefully selected materials, patterns born from repeated trial and error, and the skills of seasoned sewing artisans, each piece is finished with a reliable comfort that fosters a deeper attachment as time goes by.
