A timeless masterpiece and iconic staple of TROPHY CLOTHING that has been in production since the brand's inception. It is a signature piece, with the lot number representing the house number of the atelier where denim was first born. The silhouette is a just-fit, with moderate room around the thighs that naturally tapers toward the hem. It features meticulous attention to detail, including hidden rivets on the back pockets, unbleached pocket bags, 1605 iron buttons, embossed copper UFO rivets, and a deerskin leather patch.
The selvedge is color-coded in yellow and black, inspired by the trophy and checkered flag that symbolize the TROPHY CLOTHING name. The stitching utilizes chain-stitching from a "UNION SPECIAL" machine, which creates beautiful puckering characteristic of vintage denim as it is worn in. The sewing thread consists of a core-spun yarn, with cotton wrapped around a polyester core. This ensures excellent durability while allowing for fading over time, with thread thicknesses varied by part to enhance the aging process.
The denim fabric is our original 14.5oz "Dirt Denim," using 6-count yarn for both the warp and weft. "Dirt Denim" is crafted using custom-made yarn that replicates the uneven, slubby texture from the era before spinning technology was fully developed. It is woven slowly and powerfully on the legendary TOYODA G-3 loom, resulting in a rich, textured surface and appearance. As you break it in, you can enjoy the evolution of the fabric, achieving a finish reminiscent of vintage denim. The warp yarns are indigo rope-dyed.
When you first put them on, the jeans are not yet complete. Through repeated wear and washing, they conform to your body, developing fades and puckering, and gradually taking on a character uniquely your own. This is denim as only TROPHY CLOTHING can offer, deepening your attachment the longer you wear them.
